2027 Charles Chienggan Pur (Team United):

Pur is a young talent I’m very excited about watching develop down the road, but what he gives you early on has to catch your eye and should certainly have him in the national spotlight. At his age, he has tremendous length and fluidity, showing to be a very effective big man that has a ton of potential. He shows a great feel and footwork around the basket, scoring with touch and finishing at the rim but he also is a tremendous asset defensively, blocking shots and running the floor well.

2025 Jordan Patterson (NLPB):

I really liked the energy that Patterson played with on Day 2 at the Phenom Hoops LIVE. He continues to show his ability to be a playmaker and creator, especially off the dribble and attacking the basket. But he played competitively, finding ways to impact the game in other areas, finished strong around defenders, and attacked the glass to create opportunities.

2026 Antonio McKoy (CP3):

Getting a chance to watch CP3 2026 was fun and they brought a ton of talent, but it was McKoy that I would say had the best overall showing throughout for this team.  The 6’4 prospect continues to bring a ton of athleticism, finishing at the rim with ease and also being able to make plays through contact.  But you can see that McKoy has continued to develop and add more consistency to his game, knocking down multiple shots with his pull-up game and from behind the arc.  McKoy brings versatility with his size and athleticism, but he really showed more of his overall feel today.

2025 Jaden Best (Team Flex Elite):

Best was a new name that I learned about on Day 2, as he is one that intrigued me with his blend of size and skillset. Best is one that can play multiple positions and is comfortable not only helping run the show and operate from the perimeter, but also use his size to his advantage to score inside, make plays off the bounce, and finish.  Really liked his overall feel and ability, as was a consistent scorer for hist team

2027 Julian Hernandez (FBP):

A young guard who had a tremendous showing on Day 2, Hernandez went off for 30+ points and in his game he was able to really showcase his confident shot-making ability, hitting 9 3-pointers in one game. Hernandez really opened up many eyes with his confident release, getting to his spots and letting it fly with tremendous range but also showing he is a savvy creator.  A name to learn more about here in North Carolina.

2026 Bakari Watkins (Wildcats):

Another player that had a showing to remember was Watkins, as he finished with 31 points when we sat baseline. In a great game overall, Watkins went off as the 6’5 mixed it up really well as a scorer.  Watkins is able to flourish as a three-level scorer, showing a confident release inside and out, making plays off the bounce, and finding ways to get free throw line.  But he also impacts the game on the glass and defensively.

2025 TJ Lewis (Carolina Pressure):

What a summer Lewis has been having for Carolina Pressure but it seems that no matter where he is, Lewis finds ways to elevate and lead his team. A true scorer on the court, he does a great job in picking his spots; he has the length to finish at the rim and over defenders, but he also creates off the dribble, has a smooth pull-up game, and is comfortable in showing his range.  Game after game, he is a strong scoring option and has been showing that all summer long.
