2023 Brandon Nelson (Indian Land): How about the play of Nelson to start the day on Day 2 at the Holiday Classic, flourishing as a prospect that stretches the floor with his perimeter shot-making ability. Time after time, Nelson was able to knock down shots from three in catch-and-shoot situations, but also doing a nice job in creating and making plays for others.  He led the charge in a big way as a confident shot-maker on the court.

2023 Jareece Breeden (Indian Land): Really like what Breeden was able to show on the court, as the 6'8 senior was a HUGE help in helping man the paint.  Whether it was his ability to impact the game on the boards both offensively and defensively, as well as finishing strong around the basket and at the rim.  He was a pivotal piece to his team's win, as he finished with an impressive double-double.

2026 Dane Cassada (Calvary Day): Cassada isn't your normal freshman, as he plays with such a mature feel and understanding of the game.  He never seems sped up, plays with a great pace and feel for the game, and really reads the floor well. At 6'3, he brings a lot of versatility with the positions he can play and who he can defend.  Cassada is a poised, high IQ prospect that plays hard and can score in a variety of ways.

2024 Ty Outlaw (The Burlington School): Maybe one of the best games I've seen him play overall, Outlaw showed his ability to be an absolute force in the paint.  He has that bruising frame that makes it almost impossible to stop, using that to bully and finish through contact in the paint but also be relentless on the boards.  The 6’8 forward is an underrated prospect that I believe his best basketball is down the road.

2023 Eli Clark (Metrolina Christian): Each time we get to see Clark in action, he has performed extremely well and did so again on Day 2 with 28 points. Clark is a terrific blend of a point guard but also understanding how to be an effective scorer on the court. He has an effortless touch in shooting the basketball, whether it is from mid-range or three but also has nice touch when penetrating. Really like his leadership and toughness on the court.

2026 Cameron Newman (Gaston Christian): Newman continues to have a strong season as a leader on the floor and he really did a great job in filling it up all over the court on Day 2. Whether it was his ability to lead and initiate the offense, read the floor, make plays off the dribble, or be a nice two-way presence, Newman filled it up on his way to a 9pt, 8reb, 6asts, 3stls game. High IQ point guard that knows how to run the show and can be a pest on the floor.

2023 Efe Sekeroglu (VES): Sekeroglu makes our list of standouts once again, as the 6’10 forward continues to be productive on the court. He does a great job in showing his ability to make plays off the dribble and has solid handles to his game, but he also can really be a monster on the boards, as he racked up 15 rebounds on Day 2. Very versatile forward that can be used in a variety of ways.
