2023 DJ Jackson (NC Rise Dawkins): Jackson helped lead the charge for his team, as he was able to push the ball out in transition well, find his spots and knock down open jumpers from multiple levels on the floor. Smooth, confident release, scoring the ball well on Day 1 of the Phenom March Madness.

2022 Ian Blue (Sandhills 17u): Fresh off earning an offer from Coker, Blue came out strong on Day 1 and really displayed his ability to knock down shots from outside.  Shot after shot, he really showed his ability to stretch the floor, knocking down seven 3-pointers to help his team cruise to an easy win to start the weekend.

2023 Tatum Tucker (Iredell Co): You really must like a player that finishes strong and through contact and that is what Tucker did on several occasions.  He really flashed in his ability to be a paint presence for this team, get to the line at times, and playing with a good motor. Just never let up and was strong around the basket.

2024 Dylan Deluca (Elite 1): Deluca continues to be a name that stands out at each event.  He was one of many players that had Elite 1 clicking on both ends, but with his 6'6 frame, his ability to play and guard nearly all positions on the court, his ability to step out and be a threat from three or finish strong in the paint, and his impact on the boards, Deluca really continues to impact the game in all ways.

2025 John Campbell (NC Spartans): Campbell first caught our attention with a strong throwdown in the open floor but continued to show his production and activity level on the floor. He has good size for his position, gets out in transition with a little bounce to his game, and creates well for himself while also creating opportunities on the boards.

2022 David Sobkwiak (Moravian Prep Black): The young man was strong all throughout the game, as he was able to knock down open shots from behind the arc and with his pull-up game but also create and get to the basket well, finding ways to score around defenders. A strong showing from the young man to start the day.

2024 Josiah Peoples (Upward Stars Columbia): Watching this young man operate on the court, you can see he just has that point guard mentality and feel.  He plays at his own pace, under control but seeing the floor well, creating off the dribble, getting into the paint at times, but also making smart decisions. Really liked his feel with the ball in his hands.

2024 Edgar Escobedo (BSA Supreme): Escobedo was a new name personally at the start of the season but he is one that has only gotten better since the start and continues to develop as a solid big. He has a good skill set and feel, is fluid down in the post, has no issue in stepping out with his midrange and a three-point shot, and plays bigger on the boards than listed.

2024 Amare Bethel (Team Charlotte): Bethel is a familiar name for sure and now playing with Team Charlotte, he should be one f the leaders on the floor. Bethel's athleticism stands out immediately, rising up for a few throwdowns and chase down blocks, but he continues to add to his repertoire with his game.
