2026 Marco Varani (Future Prep)
Varani is a player that I would really look at more, as the 6’8 long wing prospect really impressed with his shot-making ability. Confident release, deep range, and has the ability to knock down shots off the catch but also create his own shot off the dribble. Multi-level scorer with a terrific jumper, as he was knocking down shots from a variety of areas in impressive fashion.
2025 London Jemison (St. Thomas More)
The Alabama commit showcased why he is one of the top talent around the country, as the 6’8 prospect was able to flourish in a variety of areas. Whether it is his ability to attack downhill and score, knock down shots inside and out, and his impact overall is impressive. Athletic, strong, active on both sides and productive in so many areas.
2026 Promis N’landu (Fort Erie)
N’landu is an impressive guard and watching him operate on the court, the point guard showed poise, control, and a leader on the court. He plays with such a poised pace, reading what the defense gives him, sees the floor and shows patience, creating really well off the bounce as well as knocking down shots from the perimeter, and just simply looking in control on the floor. Eager to see who else gets involved with his recruitment.
2026 Desmond Bellot (CATS Academy)
Another guard that I enjoyed watching on Thursday was Bellot, a 6’3 guard that is able to play both on and off the ball. He had no issues in helping run the offense, making good reads and being a playmaker, finding ways to get others involved but also taking advantage of scoring opportunities for himself. He shoots the ball well off the ball, makes high IQ decisions and passes, and is a long, athletic guard who can score in an array of ways.
2026 Parrish Edmond (Putnam Science)
Edmond is an interesting prospect and certainly one that D1 school should be looking at. At 6’5, his athleticism was certainly a factor that stood out, as he has no issue in punching on a defender at the rim as well as being disruptive defensively with his bounce. However, he mixes it up well whether it is attacking the rim or finding opportunities in catch-and-shoot situations. He has shown consistently that he can be a strong scoring option but makes plays in other areas.
2025 Abdullah Amzil (Drive Academy)
Amzil is an unsigned senior still available, and he has been known for his shot-making ability and continued to show that. Fluid release, confident shooter, and can fill it up in making plays off the dribble. He finished with 20 points in the win and should be a target late for programs.
2025 Fridrik Leo Curtis (CATS Academy)
The 7’1 center, Arizona State commit, really grabbed my attention. Of course, his sheer size is something that grabs your eyes but overall feel for the game really impressed. Love how the big man runs the floor and his overall feel in operating down in the paint. He showed touch and feel, finished at the rim, moved well without the ball, impacted the game on both sides of the ball, and was strong on the glass as well. Really liked how engaged he was and how he operated in the paint with his scoring, as ASU got themselves a good prospect coming into the program with upside.
2025 Terrance Clark (Lee Academy)
The 6’4 guard played really well when we watched him on the court, as the unsigned senior could be one to look at more for programs needing a late steal. Clark we strong in a variety of areas on the court, really flourishing as an offensive weapon. He has speed and an assertive nature in attacking downhill as well as in transition, relentlessly attacking and creating as well as putting pressure on the defense. But he also shot the ball from outside as well, finishing with strong performances throughout Day 1.
