2022 6’8 Elijah Gray (Tennessee Bobcats): Gray was off the charts in Game 1 on Day 1, scoring 29 points to help his team to a victory. He made his presence known all over the court, as the stretch forward was a mismatch scoring from the perimeter, putting it on the deck, and rebounding then pushing it out in transition.
2022 6’3 Sam Cogan (Team Denver NC): Cogan continues to produce every time he gets out on the floor. He plays with such a tremendous IQ on the floor, knowing when to score which he can do on all levels but also play unselfish basketball and find his teammates. Also, a leader on the floor.
2021 6’1 DaVeon Thomas (Upward Stars 3SSB 17u): Said it before and will say it again, there will be programs that will hate they missed out on Thomas. His ability to score the ball, get downhill, and change of direction is impressive and that goes along with a strong body that helps him through contact.
2021 6’9 Bretner Mutombo (Georgia Select All Stars): Once you watch him, you can see why this young man has the attention of college programs around the country. The mobility, the length and timing on the defensive end, and his relentless/athletic ability to get on the boards. That doesn’t even mention how he finishes incredibly strong and with power at the rim, along with touch.
2021 6’8 Elijah Tucker (Georgia Select All Stars): Tucker is just a mismatch on the court. A prospect with a 6’8 frame and one that has the athletic ability and perimeter skills as he does is tough to defend. He can face up and score, hitting a couple of three’s and attacking to get to the line.
