2020 6'0 Jamarii Thomas (Piedmont Classical): Thomas' energy and motor was absolutely fantastic to start the day off.  He came in and looked like a man on a mission, playing aggressive and non-stop on both ends of the court.  It is incredible to watch a 6'0 point guard looking to mix it up in the paint and finish countless times around the rim/through contact.  He simply was off the charts to start the day, scoring 26 points and recording seven steals to help secure the win in Game 1 of the City of Oaks.

2020 6'8 Kaleb Scott (Holly Springs): Scott played well, scoring 14 points and 10 rebounds for Holly Springs in Game 1. Scott isn't just a strong physical forward, showing his ability to step out and finish tough. His hang time and athleticism are fun to watch, which makes it tough when you blend it with his physical stature.

2020 6'11 Jaylon Gibson (GRACE Christian): Even in a low-scoring game, Gibson still captured the eyes of many. Offensively, it’s tough to find someone with his size and ability to run/handle the ball the full length of the court. He was incredibly active around the rim on both ends, as well as his willingness to step out and defend multiple players. Came up short of a double-double but still a solid day's work.

2020 6'4 Zavian McLean (Village Christian): McLean CONTINUES to be an absolute bucket-getter each and every time we see him play.  The senior is incredibly effective and does it with ease and smoothness.  The array of ways he can score the ball, whether it is from outside with a smooth, confident release, getting out in transition, or scoring tough around the rim, McLean is incredibly tough to slow down.

2021 6'1 Cole Sinclair (Durham Academy): Sinclair had a great blend in scoring on all three levels from the floor in Durham's win.  Already showing that he can knock down from deep and show his range, today he also consistently attacked and got downhill to the rim, finishing or getting to the rim.  Had a solid 24 points in the win.

2022 Nik Graves (Durham Academy): Graves plays with great composure and with excellent IQ as a point guard and a young prospect.  Finishing the night with a 9:1 turnover ratio, he sees the floor incredibly well as well as bring a confident/smooth release on his shot.
