2026 6’10 Mark Caslaru (Catawba Ridge)
If you are looking for a big to keep an eye on in South Carolina, Caslaru would be one to keep tracking. He brings really good size and feel at his position, shows that he can maneuver well on the court as well as run the floor, and has a good feel around the basket. Caslaru shows a soft touch around the basket with upside left in his game. He has shown his ability to make an impact on both ends but is also one with upside left in his game.
2026 6’0 D’Marcus Thomas (Westwood)
All throughout the summer and at the camp, Thomas has simply shown that he is a tough, scrappy guard who competes. Every time I have watched him, he has impressed and did so once again at the SC Top 80 Camp. Offensively, he plays hard and creates well, attacking downhill and getting inside the defense, not being afraid to embrace contact or score over bigs. He really flourishes well off the dribble. Defensively, he sets the tone and can really create havoc against opponents, playing with a strong motor with his on-ball defense and simply competing.
2026 5’9 Malik Tinsley (Lancaster)
One of the smaller guards at the SC Top 80, Tinsley was really able to showcase his ability to impact the game and be that “team” guy. He is a strong floor general who knows how to make everyone better around him as well as get them involved. He pressures the ball defensively, creating havoc for opponents to get by him. Tinsley is also one who can be a proven shot-maker from the perimeter, as well as using his speed to make plays.
2026 6’0 Peden Breazeale (Dorman)
Breazeale was yet another guard that really impressed with his overall presence on the court. The 6-foot guard plays hard, competes, and brings a physical presence at his position. On the offensive end, he is a twitchy, quick guard who keeps opponents guessing and showcases good burst and creativity off the dribble. He attacks well off the bounce and finishes through contact well. He brings that same intensity on the defensive end; really makes a good impact on both sides of the ball.
2026 6’3 Caden Coleman (Greenville)
Coleman is a guard that we have highlighted before and he came into the camp looking to be assertive and aggressive. When one is needing offense, Coleman certainly fits that narrative with his ability to create his own shot, attack off the bounce and get to his spots, finishing around the basket well, as well as rising up and knocking down shots from outside. Coleman showed that he is capable of scoring from all three levels.
