2025 Riley Jacobs (St. Stephens St. Agnes)
Jacobs, the UMBC commit, was incredible to start the event as the 6’8 forward really flourished in an array of ways. Jacobs was able to flourish with his length as well as his overall feel. He scored well at the rim, ran the floor, was able to make plays off the bounce, was engaged on the glass, and altered shots defensively. He was impressive and effective with his ability to finish at the rim along with his fluidity. UMBC got a good one coming their way.
2025 KJ Younger (Weddington)
What can we say that we haven’t already said before about Younger, you know what he is going to give you game in and game out. Younger continues to flourish with his ability to get where he wants and when he wants, making strong drives, embracing contact and finishing strong through defenders, putting pressure on the defense and getting to the line, and being a leader on the court. It is really impressive to know what he will do but you still can’t stop it.
2027 Lincoln Vinson (Davidson Day)
With Davidson Day short-handed on Day 1, it was Vinson who stepped up big time for his team. Vinson was tremendous in his ability to elevate his play as an offensive threat, attacking well downhill and throwing it down a few times, but also creating well off the dribble to knock down shots from multiple levels. Vinson is a smart guard that knows how to create well, make good reads, get around defenders, and make plays for others.
2025 Gray Madeira (Concord Academy)
It was a big night on Day 1 for the senior guard, as Madeira not only led the charge overall but surpassed the 1,500-point mark in his career. Madeira continues to flourish in a variety of ways, not only showing that he has a little bounce in his game, finishing at the rim, but also is one that plays within the offense, knocks down shots inside and out, and also makes plays defensively.
2026 LJ Rush (1of1)
Rush was incredibly impressive on Day 1, as he may have had the best showing on Friday night outside any other player. Rush flourished all over the court, displaying his elite speed and why he may be the most electric guard with the ball in his hands. Explosive guard, terrific in creating and attacking downhill, finishing strong at the rim and over defenders, and being such a strong presence defensively. Had a huge showing and proved why so many schools should be looking his way.
