Going back down in Florida, a player that we talked about in the past was 2027 5’10 Khanye Moss with SOH Elite. His team was back in action in Rock Hill (SC) for the USA Club Championships, so we were able to get an updated viewing of a young guard that I believe will be a strong get down the road for a future program.

At 5’10, Moss can be an electric presence on the court. Despite his size, one can’t deny his ability to be a playmaker and help bring instant offense to the court for his team as well as a playmaker for others.  On several occasions in Rock Hill when we sat baseline, Moss was able to use that same speed and ball-handling to get around defenders and attack, scoring over defenders, getting to his spots, and finding ways to get to the line. But his ability to make plays off the dribble and facilitate to open teammates also impressed as well. Moss is a tough guard with what he brings to the table, whether it is making plays for himself, knocking down shots from outside, or finding open teammates; he just finds ways to make positive plays.  Which is why he could be a sneaky prospect to continue to watch out for down the road.

What Was Said:

“One guard that really impressed though and had a few wow moments was 2027 5’10 Khanye Moss. Moss has been putting up strong numbers this summer in leading the charge, averaging nearly 17 points per game, shooting 42 percent from the floor, and finding ways to excel in an array of ways on the court for his team. The young guard quickly grabbed our attention, as he consistently showed that he could be a scoring force with speed and dynamic athleticism on the floor. Moss quickly earned our attention with his speed and quickness, blowing by defenders with ease, covering a ton of ground for his size, and really flourishing in showing his athleticism to finish at the rim and over defenders. But just when you think you have him controlled, he can hurt you from outside as well, shooting 35 percent from behind the arc for SOH Elite this summer. He is a competitive and dynamic athlete for his size, showing his competitive nature on the boards, using his speed to get in the passing lanes, and creating opportunities for himself or for others. With his blend of speed and quickness in getting his shot off, Moss would be one that I would keep my eye on down in Florida.”
