6'8 '23 James Scott (Seventy-First)

Given the difference between these two rosters (especially following the Donovan Raymond injury), Scott could ultimately be the biggest x-factor on either team. He's just extremely reliable on both ends of the floor, and that should allow him to naturally affect all facets of the game within the flow of the action. Scott is long, poised, and really embraces his identity within the paint. He's a great finisher, rebounder, and shot-altering presence with no unnecessary flash or baggage. Scott runs the floor well in transition and shows a willingness to make hustle plays whenever possible. He also utilizes his body well and displays quality all-around athleticism. Expect him to have a productive showing.

6'6 '22 Chance Morrow (West Charlotte)

There are plenty of notable guys on this West Charlotte roster, but Morrow should still be the focal point for the Lions. He's incredibly long, explosive, and physically imposing, which makes him a problem for majority of wing/forward opponents. Morrow can comfortably dictate the offense action or find opportunities without the ball in his hands. He's a menace defensively and on the glass, and will be the best athlete on either team. Morrow confidently attacks the basket, finishes through contact, and knocks down perimeter jumpers at a respectable clip. His combination of size, toughness, and athleticism should make him a problem for the opposition.

It'll certainly be an interesting contest, as these two contrasting styles and rosters should make for an entertaining battle. Xavier Tubbs-Matthews is inevitably going to be among the more productive players for either squad. He's a strong, crafty guard with the ability to set up others and score from all over the floor. However, West Charlotte has already proved capable of stifling opposing guards. Guys like Chad Traylor and Landon King will be major difference-makers for the Lions. Traylor is as steady and poised as any freshman in the state while King provides great toughness and defensive prowess. It should be a highly competitive battle from start to finish.
