Lake Norman
2025 Tre McKinnon
Long, rangy wing/forward with size, fluidity, and explosiveness. Showing consistency as a shot-maker from midrange and beyond the arc. Can create his own shot or find opportunities without the ball. Solid rebounder and overall defender. Still possesses plenty of upside.
2025 Trent Steinour
Trending upward as much as any player in the state, as evidenced by his offer sheet. Possesses a notable blend of size, timing, and athleticism. Continues to get stronger and more aggressive, but already able to finish above or below the rim, protect the rim defensively, space the floor, and rebound his position.
2026 Nick Arnold
Tough, heady point guard with a calm demeanor and rugged, unselfish approach to the game. Excellent playmaker with IQ, pace, and an understanding of how to consistently make the right play. Penetrates with ease, finishes around the basket, and sets up others at a high volume. Among the better floor generals in his class.
2025 Josh Yates
Crafty guard with scoring polish and creation skills. Able to play with or without the ball, but displays nice offensive balance with the ball in his hands. Reliable shooter, scrappy defender, and willing passer.
Lake Norman Charter
2025 Julian Johnson
Consistently improving post prospect with a steady, straightforward identity on both ends. Understands how to anchor the paint defensively, control the glass, and effectively play like a big man on offense. Displays touch, timing, and mobility.
Orange
2026 Cole Cloer
All-around wing with basically the complete package. Possesses a high-level blend of IQ, size, skill, and athleticism with no real weaknesses on either end of the floor. Shoots, creates, and utilizes his versatility to cause problems for opponents on either side of the ball. National-level prospect.
2026 Kai Wade
Balanced floor general with IQ, crafty ball-handling, and quality vision. Primarily looks to get others involved but scores as needed from all levels. Arguably at his best in transition or when getting downhill and attacking the basket.
Reidsville
2026 Kendre Harrison
Physically overwhelming specimen. Powerful athlete with feel, touch, and a high motor on both ends of the floor. Dominates the glass with relative ease, overpowers opponents offensively, and causes a ton of problems with his defensive presence. Can outwork his assignment in a variety of different ways.
2026 Dionte Neal
Purely electric point guard. Undersized, yet still dominates opponents and gets whatever he wants on the court. Polished scorer from anywhere but still prioritizes getting others involved and making the right play.
