Coach Evaluation:'Zyrail has a tremendous amount of confidence and competitiveness, which separates him from other players. Those attributes you cannot teach are important and Zyrail has those! From a skill standpoint, I am most impressed with Zyrail's vision and ability to get to the basket. His vision gets others involved and creates shots for other players. He is also a good finisher around the basket. With his frame, he takes hits and is still able to get shots off. 'Once he gets stronger those will be baskets and he will get to the foul line more consistently. 'All that said there are still areas for him to improve, like most young players' decision-making has room for improvement. That will come with more repetitions. Then, defensive consistency I have seen Zyrail lock players down and with his length and athleticism he can and will be a tremendous defender. But, it is an area I want to see him grow in and become a better on ball defender. Off the ball he is good in help defense and very crafty at executing in the scheme of the defense. Zyrail is a very coachable player he listens, competes, and represents the future of the Lake Taylor basketball program.''' Coach Brett Jones, Athletic Director and Head Coach -Lake Taylor Middle School

Coach Frank says: Zyrail has a great frame at a long 6'3, wiry and strong and very athletic.' A slasher type basket attacking guard, Zyrail has a very good handle and great quickness.' He is shifty, bouncy and is able to finish at the rim or get to the line with good regularity.' He can hit the three pointer but is most dangerous attacking the rim or pulling up and hitting the mid-range jumper.' Zyrail rebounds and defends multiple positions.' He is long and strong enough to endure the physical play inside and rebound yet has excellent footwork and quick feet that allows him to defend either guard position on the perimeter.' Zyrail competes hard with composure and confidence unlike most incoming freshmen.' He wants the ball and knows what to do with it!' He is one of the most exciting incoming freshmen in the 757 and has already proven during spring team camps with the varsity team that he is an impact player on a state qualifier at Lake Taylor High School.
