2026 Amari Melton (Triple Threat)My second viewing of Amari only confirmed what I saw from him last month. The big guard takes what he wants and shows no indication that the defense phases him at all. He consistently finishes contested drives and uses his body well as he operates as the main ball handler. Any chance he got in the open court was a bucket for his team, so dangerous in transition and seeing the floor, the smallest of lanes are enough for him to muscle his way through. He’s the absolute X-Factor and leader for this squad.
2026 Will Stevens (Triple Threat)Will is the big man to complement Amari and they operate well together, as Will was rewarded all game with dish offs from Amari. Since last month there’s a clear progression in his game as he finished with more strength and confidence as well as owning full control of the glass. His shooting stroke is pure mechanically as he was perfect from the FT line, vital for how many fouls he will draw, and was able to step out beyond the arc. All signs point to a big school season ahead for this young big.
2026 Isaiah Williams (CC Elite)Isaiah has a lot of early upside and potential pointing towards a bright future on the court. Already long and likely to grow more, the young big showed off his feel and tools to have a versatile scoring day. His length allows him to adjust and finish around the lane but he can also tell when to put it on the floor and attack. Made for a very entertaining battle between two young bigs that can stretch the floor with him vs Will Stevens, start to keep an eye on him as the 2026 class moves to high school next year.
2024 Dylan DeLuca (Elite1)In a loaded 2024 class for North Carolina, it’s gonna take a lot to stand out amongst the ranks. Dylan has the tools and size to be one of those. A sophomore among what will be a solid Metrolina Christian team this year, Dylan possesses good footwork and feel down low while providing a steady versatile presence as a defender with his mobility and length. He checks a lot of boxes right now for someone who can contribute and lead during what will be a competitive varsity schedule this season.
