6'7 '24 Josh Randolph (The Burlington School)

Although it was a fairly balanced (and dominant) showing for the Spartans, Randolph made a lasting impression with everything he showcased. He's a knockdown shooter with length, range, and a wiry build. Randolph is excellent off the catch, but can also attack closeouts and finish, pull-up, or kick out to an open teammate. He has gotten more comfortable and productive throughout the early stages of the season. Expect Randolph's recruitment to heat up over the next calendar year.

6'3 '23 Markquan Gilbert (Ben L. Smith)

There were a lot of notable performers for the Golden Eagles, but Gilbert continues to clearly shine as their two-way leader. He scores, defends, rebounds, and consistently sets the tone on both ends of the floor. Gilbert utilizes his blend of size, strength, athleticism, and physicality to cause constant problems for opponents. Offensively, he attacks the basket, finishes through contact, and hits pull-up jumpers at a quality rate. Gilbert plays bigger than his size as a defender and rebounder. He will be a useful player at the next level.

6'8 '24 Sean Birmingham (Cannon)

It's easy to appreciate the overwhelming amount of talent on Cannon's roster, and Birmingham continues to play as well as anyone in the state. At 6-foot-8, he possesses an absolute flamethrower from beyond the arc, but also displays IQ, touch, and fluidity. Birmingham is also a reliable passer with the ability to play inside or out based on team need. Though somewhat new to the state, he's clearly tracking as a prospect for a variety of Division I programs to monitor.

6'11 '23 Kenan Parrish (Northwood)

After consistently performing in front of college coaches, it still makes no sense as to why Parrish holds no offers from scholarship-level programs. He's a big, strong post prospect with a sturdy frame and reliable interior presence on both ends of the floor. Parrish makes up for his lack of lateral quickness with precise positioning and altering shots around the basket. He can also finish above or below the rim, but also scores in various ways with his back to the basket. There's really no explanation for his lack of offers.

6'5 '23 Jakel Powell (Raleigh Christian)

It would be difficult to watch this contest and walk away feeling anything other than impressed with Powell. He's a high-level shooting threat from beyond the arc, but can also attack off the bounce and finish or hit pull-ups at a quality percentage. Powell possesses great size and length, and is capable of excelling in situations as a spot-up threat. He moves well without the ball and makes a nice impact in transition.

5'10 '24 Isaiah Sanders (High Point Christian)

There are numerous appealing pieces within this Cougar roster, but Sanders continues to stand out as their clear leader. He's a polished three-level scorer with the blend of IQ, craftiness, and quickness to mix it up whenever he wants. Sanders creates for himself and others with relative ease, but can also spot-up and move without the ball in his hands. It's easy to see his offensive firepower, but he's also a reliable defender at the point of attack.
