6’8 ’25 Nate Ament (Team Loaded NC)

There’s been a considerable number of noteworthy prospects, but arguably none more enticing than Ament. His appeal as a long, fluid forward with IQ, skill, and athleticism should be pretty self-explanatory. However, Ament is truly just beginning to harness his long-term gifts. He’s already a matchup problem for all types of opponents, given the fact that he’s too skilled for most players his size and too tall to be contained by smaller players. Ament displays feel around the basket, but also highlights ball skills, great vision, and a willingness to make the right play whenever possible. He also shoots the ball really well. It’s easy to see why he’s already being pursued by notable programs.

7’0 ’24 Chol Machot (Team Loaded VA)

It’s honestly quite shocking to see someone like Machot not getting recruited more aggressively by college coaches. Given his legitimate size, insane length, natural feel as a rim-protector, and bounds of clear upside, he should be a target for all types of programs. Machot displays solid touch and poses a constant lob/putback threat around the basket. He understands how to pass from the post and can space the floor when needed. Machot displays great timing as a rebounder and shot-blocker. He also runs the floor well in transition. There’s already a lot to like with the rim-running big man.

5’10 ’25 Derek Ross Jr. (Wildcats Elite)

The Wildcats Elite played at a high level in their contest against a notable opponent, and Ross was a massive reason why. Though he’s still among the younger guys on either team, he’s extremely smart and poised with the ball in his hands. Ross handles the ball very well, creates for himself and others, and applies constant scoring pressure from all three levels. He’s a pesky all-around defender, which is evidenced by his ability to mirror opponents and force turnovers (and push transition play) at a fairly high volume. Ross is always looking to make the right play, but is capable of taking over and getting whatever he wants offensively. It’s so easy to like what he brings to a team.

6’3 ’25 Ashton Walker (Team Loaded NC)

It should come as no surprise to know that the Team Loaded roster is full of talented players, which certainly includes Walker and everything he brings to a team. He’s a very crafty, polished, well-rounded guard prospect with the ability to produce from either backcourt position. Walker is comfortable at running the team and getting everyone involved, but displays effortless scoring polish from all levels. He plays with great pace, passes the ball well, and simply understands how to lead by example on both ends of the floor. Like the others listed, Walker is someone who should attract college coaches over the next few seasons.

5’8 ’26 Brandon Edmonds (Virginia Pride)

Although Virginia Pride put forth a fairly balanced showing, Edmonds was utterly dominant as the leader of this group. He’s an unselfish, heady point guard prospect with a knockdown three-point stroke and the ability to consistently create for others. Edmonds looked to initiate the offense and set up his teammates whenever possible, but naturally found scoring chances on penetration, fast-breaks, and in spot-up situations. He clearly set the tone in this contest.
