What Was Said:

'There was a ton of buzz surrounding the Raiders and the return of their star, but Cole was arguably the most notable performer in this showing. He set the tone early on offense, largely carrying the load as a scorer through his ability to get downhill, finish, and convert at the line. Cole rebounded the ball at a consistent rate, forced a ton of turnovers, and looked to get others involved whenever possible. He possesses nice size and utilizes his body well on both ends of the floor.'

Cole is a player that I find very intriguing, but one that I do believe is going a bit under the radar; that is why we are bringing more attention his way. Cole captured my eyes this summer with Sandhills Machine (link above), where he impressed with his size, his athleticism, his ability to be effective on both sides of the ball, and his scoring ability. He backed that up with his extremely impressive outing at the Hoops & Dreams, where he finished with 16 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists, 3 blocks, and 6 steals. And furthermore, the junior is having a strong overall season, averaging 15.8ppg, 6.6rpg, 2.6apg, 2.6spg, and he is shooting 40 percent from three. Cole has the size at 6'4 and when watching him, he does a great job in creating off the dribble and getting downhill, but also playing off the ball and finding the open spots from behind the arc. And he can be a strong overall impact in a variety of other ways, but he still doesn't need to be in the bright spotlight for him to produce. Cole right now holds one offer from Shaw, but I believe he is one that schools should be looking at more.
