Troutman had himself a weekend in Rock Hill, capturing a few eyes and really giving us a glimpse of his game.' In four games at the event, Troutman posted scoring outputs of 22 points, 24 points, 11 points, and 9 points, averaging 16.5 points per game in the 3-day event. He has tremendous early size and did much of his damage around the rim and from the free-throw line.
Last Season:
Playing as a freshman at Uwharrie Charter Academy, Troutman saw action in 22 games last season. And as a young prospect, he had a very good year in which he averaged 8.9 points and 4.8 rebounds per game, shooting 61 percent from inside the arc and getting to the line on multiple occasions (46-for-69).

'Impressed in flashes, Troutman is a long 6'6 prospect. He utilized his body well down low and he understands positioning in the early stages. Troutman showed high IQ on a couple of seal-offs in the paint that resulted in clean looks, while also showing a good motor. He fought through early frustration and impacted the game on both ends. His jumper is fluid and he gets nice rotation on the ball; Troutman runs the floor well and will bang on the glass.'
