Phenom's Open Gym Tour
Day 2

Trinity Academy
(Raleigh, NC)

2017-18: 8-17 (6-8 in Conference)

5-Star Newcomer

All eyes this season will be firmly placed on Isaiah Todd, and rightfully so. The 6'10' junior may just be the countries best NBA prospect in the 2020 class. Todd can do a little bit of everything on the floor, with a beautiful jump shot to go along with ball skills and a length/explosive frame.

He will get every opposing team's best shot and will not sneak up on anyone. What impressed the most about him in this setting is his work ethic. Todd set the tone throughout the entire practice. He won every run, every sprint, he was vocal and positive throughout the drill portion and he was helping everyone with the sets. Todd is an unbelievable teammate and should thrive in this setting, not only for his self but for the entirety of the school and program. He makes everyone better.

Bertolini-Felice Takes Major Step

While most of the opposing teams will be focused on Todd, it is Bertolini-Felice who will probably make the biggest strides from this. The 6'5' junior is very skilled and has the ability to hurt you from the inside or out and will play a great compliment to Todd this year.

Bertolini-Felice is a high academic player and someone who should see his recruitment bump up this season as he currently carries no offers.

New Point Guard to Watch

5'11' sophomore Tyler Gill will be tasked with running this team. Gill is a transfer from Millbrook high school is a jet-quick lead guard who lives in the paint. Defensively he will cause havoc at the point of attack as he is tough minded with great quickness and anticipation. Only a sophomore, his development over the next couple of years will be very interesting and something to monitor closely.

Trinity Academy will have the best player on every court they walk on and a great coach on the sidelines. With multiple college level talent and a roster of solid role players, with size and who buy in this season be one where Trinity Academy is able to make some very loud noise in NCISAA 2A.
