6’3 2017 Devontae Shuler of Oak Hill Academy – Committed to Ole Miss
Devontae Shuler is simply a winner wherever he goes. As he played with Team CP3 in the 2016 Nike EYBL, he averaged 12.3PPG while shooting 50% from the field. The defensive stopper also grabbed 3RPG while averaging 2STLPG.
One thing that stands out about Shuler’s game is his defense, Phenom Hoops analyst Jamie Shaw stated, “Shuler’s style can be considered as a kamikaze. He is all over the place. Defensively, he plays with quickness, strength, and he truly has a passion to shut his man down.”
As Shuler committed to Ole Miss back in early October, he stated in our interview how he felt about his decision and the program.
“The connection that the coach and I had was like no other because we had a strong relationship. He’s such an honest person who is always down to earth with you. I also feel like I can fit their style of play and I really like the way their academics is set up too.”
