What a day of excitement at Phenom's David Rose Memorial Day Classic. Every year players bring out their explosive shoes, every year at least one play has gone viral on social media. This year is no different.

The day started off with Trayvon Byrd getting 25,000 views by noon. Both Overtime and Hoops Mixtape picked up the video put out by our Miles Masercola. The day continued with a James Franklin video getting thousands of views.

While Cooper, McDonald and Jones didn't get on the individual video mix, but they will be on the overall event mix. All three played well above the rim for the entire day. They took off will ill-intentions and finished with authority.

Here are the ones the cameras need to follow.

6'6' 2021 Trayvon Byrd
NC Ice 15s

This was the dunk of the day, heck this may be in the conversation for the dunk of the travel ball season. Byrd is a long and explosive player who races down the wing, filling the lanes. Byrd took off from outside the paint and seemingly wrapped his legs around the defender's head. The gym went crazy, but expect more from this from Byrd, it's the norm.

6'4' Unsigned Senior Jon Cooper
Atlanta Timberwolves

Cooper is ridiculously explosive. Ripping through from the wing and getting downhill and putting his armpits in the rim. It was very unsuspecting, every the 5th time he did it in the game. He is one you have to keep the cameras one, he will be sure to bring the team to its feet.

6'4' 2021 Jalen McDonald
Team Loaded NC 15s

McDonald is one of the top freshmen in North Carolina, we knew this. He has great length and shoots the ball well. But today, he showcased his ability to really get off the floor. He had multiple dunks, above the rim, and throwing down hard windmills and baselines jams. Like Cooper, he is one that the videographers need to keep their cameras on. His best was off a deflection on defense and came down and took off a couple steps inside the free throw line. He wind milled with authority and stared at the Bucket Reel camera. It was vicious.

6'5' 2019 James Franklin
Team Loaded NC 17s

Had Byrd not been in this event, Franklin would have had the dunk of the day. 360, windmill, BAM! With thousands of views later everyone now knows James Franklin. He is strong and he is explosive and he brought the house down. It came out of no where and everyone looked around wondering what just happened.

6' 2020 Micah Jones
Durham Hurricanes 16s

Not the biggest player out there, Jones put down multiple dunks that could each stand on their own as standouts. The first was in traffic as he turned the corner and took-off off of two feet and crammed it home in traffic. A couple of plays later he got a steal and he raced down the floor, threw it off the backboard to himself and finished with authority, with two hands. Unsuspecting at first, but watch closely.
