Part 2
Dorman Vs. Wilson

5 PM at Ben Lippen School in Columbia, SC

Dorman, the defending 5A South Carolina state champion will enter Phenom's Capital City Jam as the #1 team in South Carolina's 5A division. They are currently 6-0 this year and will be carrying an 18 game winning streak into this game.

Wilson High School out of Florence, is coming off a season where they finished 21-1 and made it all the way to the South Carolina 4A state semifinals. They will enter Phenom's Capital City Jam as the #1 team in South Carolina's 4A Division. They are currently 3-0 this year and have won 24 of their last 25 games, only having lost one game in the last two seasons.

This matchup is a clash of South Carolina high school basketball titans. They both have ridiculous talent, at all positions, are a filled with high light reel type players who will make above the rim plays, keeping fans on their feet, throughout the course of the game.

The individual matchups here will be interesting as well'
(Wilson players listed first)

Wilson’s uber-exciting senior Alex Caldwell is Committed to SE Missouri

6' 2018 Alex Caldwell Vs. 6' 2020 Myles Tate
Caldwell picked up 10 or so offers throughout the process. The high flying, high scoring lead guard is a commit to SE Missouri and has the title as one of the most exciting players in SC because the things he does, a player his size is supposed to. Tate is taking on the torch from Caldwell as the sophomore's recruitment is just beginning. Look for Tate to become one of the most sought after point guards in the region. This matchup has EVERYTHING you want, excitement, explosion, toughness, defense, shot makers and high character and highly recruited prospects.

Dorman rim rattling senior Gabe Bryant is Committed to Gardner Webb

6'7 2018 Jamonty Williams Vs. 6'9 2018 Gabe Bryant
Williams and Bryant are both lengthy and explosive post players. Bryant, like Caldwell, picked up over 10 offers throughout the process, eventually committing to Gardner Webb. Williams recruitment has sky rocketed lately picking up offers from Lees McRae, Coker, Johnson C Smith and Lander since the season started. Bryant is a mad dog on the floor, hunting put back dunks and upping his body count by the game. Williams is a new age forward who can face up and is an athletic rim runner. Who wins this matchup may be the tell of who wins the game, but don't take your eyes off either, something exciting will happen when you least expect it.

Wilson junior Allen Williamson carries an early D1 offer from South Carolina State

6'4 2019 Allen Williamson Vs. 6'1 2018 Ethan Parton
Williamson carries an offer from South Carolina State, the lefty is a dead-eye shooter from beyond the arc and has the ability (and athleticism) to get to the rim and finish from the wing or high post areas. Parton is the glue man for Dorman, he is the dead eye shooter and the secondary ball handler. He plays a great Robin to Tate's Batman. Surprisingly enough Parton has no offers currently, D2s around the region should be all over this winner. Already at a D1 level Williamson's recruitment is sure to continue rising. 6'4' with length, slashing ability and dead eye touch off the catch is quite the commodity.

Dorman sophomore PJ Hall carries early offers from Presbyterian and Wofford

6'10 2018 Ryan Carfley Vs. 6'8 2020 PJ Hall
Carfley transferred in to Wilson from playing at Marion High School last year. He has been under the radar until playing on the Adidas Gauntlet this summer with Garner Road's A team. The long post player has great hands/touch to go along with patience and footwork on the block. Patriot's and SoCon's should be looking along with all the D2s. Hall is an up and coming star. Already carrying an offer from Presbyterian and Wofford (his dad played there), Hall is sure to become a hot commodity throughout his career at Dorman. Hall has good length and straight line explosion, he has good timing as a shot blocker and range that extends beyond the 3-point arc. In his last game against 5A power Sumter High School, Hall showed the full arsenal with a made 3 and two jump hooks over his left shoulder. Still growing, watch closely.

As you can see, this game is full of excitement and storylines. College coaches at all levels should be lining up to see this game. Not only that but fans should be filling the stands, this game could very well have two of this season's state champions playing in it as two of the most talented packed teams in the state of South Carolina go head to head.
