6'9' 2020 Myles Evans
NC Empire Go Hard 16s
Evans was the top performer on the 16u Gold Championship winning time. He stepped up big in the championship game, seemingly getting better, more comfortable, each time he stepped on the floor. Evans has great size and length, he carries a high IQ off the ball but what separates him is his touch and his range. Evans finished everything around the basket, stepped out to 18 feet and showed to be a good area rebounder. A sure fire D1 kid, he averaged a double-double with 17 points and 10 boards per game, schools should be watching closely in July.
6' 2023 Treymane Parker
Flight 22 Fayetteville 13s
Only in 7th grade, Parker was the MVP of the entire event. When looking at it objectively, he was the most dominate player, game in and game out, at his age group. Parker has the complete arsenal of skills to pull from, as he plays with an unbelievable pace with great vision, he has range that extends far beyond the 3-point arc and he has explosion that has him finishing above the rim. You cannot pigeon hole him into a specific player, he has all the tools in the kit. Parker should be thought about as a national level prospect and a prospect who has a chance to be special.
5'11' 2021 Jaquante Harris (holding trophy)
Taking it by Force 15s
Harris was off the charts, saving his best performances for last as he went for 30 points in the 15u Gold Championship game. Harris is a do everything guard as he jumped center, brought the ball up and finished at and above the rim. Harris is incredible tough and a player to place in your SIM card. He averaged 23 per game for the 15u Gold Champions.
6'3' Unsigned Senior Jermaine Jones
CBC Fire 17s
Jones showcased that he could flat out score the basketball. He has an unorthodox way, an off cadence that allows him to catch defenders on their mis-step. However, you cannot dispute the fact that Jones got buckets. He shot the ball well with range, everything online, and he got into the mid-range where he finished with an assortment of floaters and pull-ups. Jones averaged 27 points per game on Day 1 for the 17u Gold Champions and is one that colleges need to look into as he has a collegiate level skill set and frame.
6'2' 2020 JaJuan Carr
WBC Elite 17s
Carr continues to really show out, really carrying a lot of momentum into the July Live Period Carr is a high level guard prospect who has a lot of tools. He is a thick bodied, explosive guard who is seemingly impossible to keep out of the paint. He shot the ball well and finished above the rim, through contact. Carr was consistently the best performer for the 2nd place 17u Gold team. He averaged 16 points and 6 assists per game.
