What Was Said:

“Hyatt came to Miller School with a major reputation as a shooter. He has a big frame, and has performed at the biggest level, both in school and AAU. He moved back to Virginia, after spending time at Bishop Stepanic in New York, to focus on his game. Early returns are off the charts. He is ranked in the Top 35 in the nation’s 2019 class and has only room to get better.” – Jamie Shaw

“You can tell that he has worked on his shot for countless hours because of how pure it is. While watching him this weekend, I thought the ball was going in the basket every time he shot it. He is someone that can score in bunches real fast.” – Houston Wilson, MakePlayz

You don’t see many 6’6 shooting guards with the size and ability of Hyatt. This season, the young man is averaging 18.2 points per game, while also averaging 12.4 rebounds, 2.8 assists, 1.4 steals, and 1.2 blocks as well. He is shooting 43 percent from the floor and also is shooting 41 percent from three this season as well. One has to love his length and skill set, on both ends of the court. At 6’6, he can use his size to rise-up over opponents, but also coming in at 210 pounds, has the physical force to bully his way to the basket. Defensively, Hyatt holds a wingspan that con really contest any shot and certainly make it difficult for opponents, as one can see averaging 12.4 rebounds and 1.2 blocks per game.

His recruitment has only started and more programs are seeing how good this young man is.
