2018 Elijah McCadden (Greenfield): When you watch, it is hard not to keep your eyes on Coby White but you may want to step away for a few seconds to take a look at McCadden. This guard is productive every time we see him and did it again on Day 2. The 6’5 guard has a superb wingspan that allows him to really attack the rim and finish over opponents, while also going up for boards. This young man holds a few Division I offers already but more programs should be looking at him. On Day 2, he did much of his damage attacking the rim, as he finished with 18 points and 9 rebounds.

2019 Greg Gant (Trinity Christian): Gant is part of a trio of special 2019 prospects but he might be the most athletic of them all. When you watch him, it feels like he just floats in air and never comes down. Add that with his wingspan and this athletic forward has the tools to be a big time product down the road and he is only getting better. On Day 2 in a tough game against Lincoln Charter, Gant finished with 10 points, 10 rebounds, and three blocks in the win.

2018 Reginald Davis (Kinston): Davis has shown that he can play some ball for Kinston. Davis recorded a solid double-double for against Greenfield and even though he may be a 6’4 forward, he was tough down low in the paint, showed some quickness with his post moves, and was active all night long. He may not get all the love but Davis has performed well two nights in a row at the Phenom Joe Miller Invitational.

2017 Aamir Simms (Blue Ridge, Clemson commit): Simms is a unique player and going up against a bigger Hamilton Heights, they needed him to come up big in several areas. He did just that, scoring 19 points and grabbing nine rebounds as well, as Blue Ridge took down Hamilton Heights down on the first day of bracket play. Simms really can stretch the floor with his size and offensive ability to knock down outside shots but also had to battle on the boards with the big boys in this one. When he is locked in, Simms is a great talent that can only flourish at the next level.
