Trinity Christian

6'5 '19 Josh Nickelberry: We look at a smooth, three-level scorer in Josh Nickelberry. He is among the most polished offensive players in the country and yet he's only a sophomore. Nickelberry attacks early and often from many angles; his high-arcing shot is a thing of beauty and watching him get crafty around the rim is really pleasing, considering he finishes nearly everything. Final stats: 21 points and 4 rebounds

6'7 '19 Joey Baker: The long, smooth forward has such an incredible feel for the game and always seems to be around the ball, making a play. Offensively, he is very strong and able to find a mismatch against defender. While on defense, Baker uses his length well and makes things difficult for opponents. Final stats: 16 points and 5 rebounds

New Hanover

5'8 '18 Freddie Taylor: The lead guard has phenomenal heart and displayed a big-time desire to win, doing everything possible to put his team in a favorable position. His game is eerily similar to Patrick Beverly; a smaller guard that defends with quickness and strength, runs the team on offense and hits shots when called upon. Final stats: 15 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists

5'10 '17 Blake Smith: The nets were set on fire this evening and Blake Smith deserves all the credit, as he simply could do no wrong from three-point territory. Smith is a deadeye three-point shooter and that was evident before he canned seven threes. His play was a huge part in their win. Final stats: 23 points

6'2 '18 Ramello Williams: The glue that held New Hanover together goes by the name of Ramello Williams. The long wing made life especially difficult for Trinity, as he disrupted many momentum swings and set the tone on defense with his hard-nosed approach. He outhustled everyone else on the floor tonight. Final stats: 15 points and 6 rebounds
