Liberty Heights vs. ISA Academy

Two teams started off the day in style, both loaded with talent.  Liberty Heights got out to an early 19-13 lead behind the balanced attack inside and out, but Brad Colbert's ability to knock down shots from the perimeter kept ISA close early on.  ISA though started to get out in transition, create turnovers with their full court defense, and scored from the perimeter and in the paint.  Keon Ambrose led the way with a strong first-half performance, helping ISA to a 33-27 halftime lead.

Second half, ISA continued to attack, as Colby Dienbeck and Charles Bediako started to get into the action down low and helping their team get out to a 15-point cushion.  Liberty Heights though continued to battle behind Kahari Rogers' 17 points.  Liberty Heights cut into the lead in the fourth quarter with their pressure defense but the deficit was too much, as ISA Academy secured the 67-58 victory.

Combine Academy vs. Teay's Valley

You may not see two teams and coaches that get after it more than these two and it turned into a dogfight throughout.  Combine came out strong like they have shown in the past but Teay's Valley responded with a 16-0 run to put Combine back on their heels.  David Jones for Teays was off the charts early with 18 points in the first half, helping secure a 32-23 halftime lead.

Combine though brought the energy early in the third quarter led by their head coach Jeff McInnis.  Jalen Hood-Schifino continued to stay aggressive and get to the line, while Combine used their defense to turn into offense.  Eventually, the intensity reached its high point and both teams competed at an all-time high, leaving it all out on the court.  One team would make a run, the other would answer as these two teams traded baskets back and forth late into the fourth quarter.

The Skills Factory vs. Hargrave Military (PG)

To say these two got after it on the offensive end is an understatement.  In a high-scoring affair, the two teams loaded with Division I talent all over the court put on a show.  Jaylin Galloway scored with his jumper for TSF, but the guard play and speed of the guards were tough to stop for Hargrave.  KD Johnson and AJ James did their thing, while Bryson Childress came off the bench for 15 big points to grab a double-digit halftime lead.

Second half, Hargrave never let up on the intensity on both ends of the court, helping expand their lead to 25+ points at one point in the second half.  Corey Walker and Jordan Johnson were strong offensively, combining for 21 points but it was a complete team effort.  Galloway continued to be a huge factor for TSF, while Kai Sotto chipped in with 10 points in the second half.  Overall though, the speed, physicality, and relentless pursuit on defense.
