6’4 2022 Isaiah Williams: CSB Elite 2022
Williams is a hard nosed, big body post player that does a great job attacking on the low block. He possesses excellent touch around the rim using excellent fundamental footwork to create space for himself down there. As he continues to develop physically and athletically, expect Williams to become a really productive player at the high school level in the near future.
5’10 2022 Andrew Siler: CSB Elite 2022
Siler is another hard nosed player that makes a living on turning the opposition over, leading to easy offense. He finishes at the rim really well, showing the ability to finish through contact in transition. His combination of competitiveness, defensive instincts, and ability to score make Siler a really nice young guard.
6’2 2022 Kaali McCullough: PSB Winston Salem
McCullough is a smooth shooting young wing that brings a high level of defensive versatility as well. At this point in his basketball career he can guard 3-4 positions due to his length and athletic abilities. His willingness to do a multitude of different things for this PSB Winston squad is encouraging as well. Expect McCullough to continue progressing physically and skill-wise, making himself a possible next level prospect.
6’6 2022 Drake Downs: WNC Warriors
Downs has been the most intriguing prospect I’ve seen all day with his combination of size, ball skills, and athletic ability. He’s a fluid wing forward that can push the ball in transition and score it in a variety fo ways. Back to the basket, facing up, from beyond the arc, running in transition, he can do it all! The next step for Downs is playing a more productive brand of basketball at a consistent level, if he can do that, the sky is the limit. Bonafide D1 Prospect!
6’0 2022 David Sherer: WNC Warriors 15U
Sherer is a do it all combo guard that makes excellent reads with the ball in his hands, while doing a great job moving without it when it’s not. He’s a high IQ player that has a smooth in between game, opening up a lot of scoring opportunities as he gets into the teeth of the defense. He’s a willing attacker, keeping the defense on its heels the entire game, playing an integral role in his teams morning victory.
6’1 2022 Fisher Darden: Manzer Elite
Darden is a smooth operator that can shoot the ball from distance at a high rate. He handles the ball, initiates offense, and does a nice job opening the defense up with his shooting ability. As he continues to develop athletically expect him to become a next level prospect.
5’6 2022 Joshua Stephen: Jayhawk Elite
Stephen is an incredibly smooth floor general that plays the game with a high level of tenacity and flare. He has an incredible ball fake that he uses to create space in the paint or on the perimeter to score. Expect Stephen to continue to develop physically and become a productive high school player in the near future.
6’0 2023 Zion Wright: Carolina Pressure
Wright was arguably the best prospect on the floor in this game with his ability to initiate offense and use his length to impact the game defensively. His ability to create offense for himself off the bounce cannot go unnoticed, he gets by his man consistently and finishes at the rim with purpose. Wright has a chance to be one of the top 2023 kids in South Carolina if he continues to develop.
