The start of June is upon us and that has to get players and teams all around the region excited about the upcoming months for travel and high school ball. Teams came into town in Bermuda Run to come and compete at the Phenom Summer Showcase, as they were looking to take home some hardware.
Down in the 14u Division, it was the matchup people were looking for between Team Charlotte 2026 and CSB Elite 2026, both teams with young talent to watch. It was a close on in the first half, with Team Charlotte holding a narrow 25-22 lead, as Hines, Newman, and Dyer led the charge. But the script flipped in the second half, as CSB outscored Team Charlotte 31-18 to ultimately take home the 53-43 victory. Dionte Neal led the charge for CSB, as he had an incredible weekend.
