What a great day of basketball. The games were competitive, the crowd was into it, coaches were in the stands, and the players showed out. Here were some of the standouts from the Phenom Summer Jam

2018 Class
5'11' Kody Shubert (Lincoln Charter)

Not only does Shubert have the ball on a string, but he has deep range and great court vision. Shubert will be playing up in age with Team Charlotte 16s during July. Store this name away, he is tracking at a big level.

6'4' Jaron Williams (York Prep)
Williams has a great frame and athleticism as a wing on his age. When he was engaged he was a problem on defense, and in transition he was able to shine. The upside here is intriguing and it will be good to watch him develop.

6'3' Damar Sutton (Northeastern)
Sutton was off to a very good varsity season last year, averaging over 10 points and leading his team with 7 boards per game, as a freshman. Sutton, who is also a standout wide receiver, is a lengthy athlete with some dog in his game. Not only did he rebound and defend, he showed some perimeter ability with the ball. Good prospect.

5'7' Rafael Jenkins (Carmel Christian)
Initially Jenkins does not pass the look test, however once he plays he has control of the tempo for his team. Along with having the ball on the string, Jenkins showed the ability to make shots with range. Jenkins may not be done growing, as both his parents are tall. It was a good showing.
