July is going to be fun, especially with Phenom Hoops. That is why we are getting just a small head-start on the teams and players that will be in attendance for the Summer Havoc. Here, we look to preview just a few names to watch for throughout the weekend in Rock Hill, with many others stepping up their game in front of college coaches.
Team 803
If you are getting an early look at the talent around the area, Team 803 will be a team to watch as they have several rising prospects that could be of interest.
2024 Manny Pringle is one to keep tabs on, as he has been impressive in the past in Phenom events. Here is what was recently said about Pringle:
“He’s a hidden, underrated gem,” he replied. “Works very hard every day to add different pieces to his game. Very special seeing him attack guards with his deadly handles, attacking downhill, and change up of speed into his three-point shot. He shoots the three-ball very efficiently and very versatile; he can play either point position, shooting guard, or I’ll run him at the wing. The thing that makes Manny so dangerous is his versatile play style. His opponents don’t know what is coming because his skill set is so high. He rebounds at a high rate for a guard; averaged about six rebounds, five assists this past weekend (at the Phenom G3 Showcase), along with about 15 points per game.”
2024 Ali Duncan is another, as he is a vicious on-ball defender on the court. He gets after it incredibly well, usually guarding the opponent’s best player. 2024 Jah Mayrant is a player with a very high motor that plays with a scrappy feel on the court. He can get you a double-double as an undersized forward.
Other players that could catch your attention for Team 803 are 2024 Jackson Rundlett, 2024 Melo Doby, 2024 Jylil Favor, 2024 Aaiden Heriot, 2024 Tyler Quiros, 2024 Karon Brown, and 2024 Mauri Simon.
Make sure you check out Team 803 and all the other talents on the court throughout the Summer Havoc in Rock Hill.
