6'5 2022 Travis Shaw: Greensboro Warriors 15u

We already know about Shaw as a high level football kid, but his basketball abilities need some recognition as well.' He's a strong bodied post that possesses excellent footwork, soft hands, and great court awareness.' He's an excellent vocal leader that anchors this Greensboro Warrior squad on the defensive end, getting his guys in the right place and he's actually significantly more mobile than he looks.' He'll be a force at Grimsley High School next year with Greensboro Warriors 17u star Ahmil Flowers.'

6'3 2021 Ryan Roberts: NC Ice 16u

Roberts is virtually unstoppable against his age group when he's hot from the perimeter due to his ability to attack close-outs and get to the basket with confidence.' He's another one that's seen his athletic abilities drastically improve over the past year and still learning how to apply them in an effective fashion.' With that being said Roberts has a ton of upside with his emerging talents and should continue to see his trajectory as a prospect head in the right direction.'

5'9 2022 Jack Faulkner: Spectrum 2022 (VA)

Faulkner is one of the top shooters in the entire event bringing out the full clip for his morning contest.' The undersized point guard did a nice job running the team but his ability to make shots with deep range on a consistent basis was astounding.' The defense kept getting closer the Faulkner just kept backing up.' Definitely one to keep in the memory bank moving forward.'

6'3 2022 Dawson Mcalhany: NC Spartans 16u

Mcalhany is the jack of all trades for this NC Spartans 16u team.' He showed the ability to create offense with consistency against a really good defensive squad in the Royal Knights.' He has a great combination of size, athleticism, natural scoring ability, and toughness as he doesn't back down from anything.' He played a vital role at Bishop McGuinness this past year, a role that should increase next season and Dawson looks ready to take the charge.' His shooting mechanics have showed considerable signs of improvement recently, if that continues expect Mcalhany to develop into a bonafide scholarship level, possibly D1 prospect.'

6'0 2021 Jaquaveon Venable: Royal Knights 16u

Venable is a high level lead guard that brings a ton of intensity to every matchup particularly on the defensive end.' He did a great job getting his guys together after a slow start and made some shots to ignite the offense early on.' His ability to man the top of the zone press was really impressive, filling passing lanes, and making life extremely difficult for opposing ball handlers.' Venable should continue to see his recruitment pick up in the coming year as a scholarship level prospect.' His intangibles are what make him so great.'

6'1 2022 Emmanuel Elliot: Greensboro Warriors 15u

Elliot is a really smooth combo guard that brought his bag of tricks to the table in his 2nd game of the day.' His ability to consistently make perimeter shots while keep the pressure on the defense with his driving ability made him an extremely tough cover throughout the contest.' He plays with a ton of energy on both ends of the court, finding a way to leave his touch on every aspect of the game.' He showed the ability to initiate offense and create off the bounce for others in spots as well.' Elliot will be heading into his sophomore season at Dudley where he should see his profile as a prospect grow more and more.'

6'3 2023 Ronald Horton: Team Loaded NC 2023

Horton is one of if not the best shooter I've seen in NC's 2023 class.' He does a great job moving without the ball and showed that he can light it up in multiple outings this weekend with a high level of consistency.' He is comfortable from beyond the arc and in the mid-range while never forcing the issue.' He takes good shots consistently therefore making him an incredibly efficient perimeter player, something seldom seen at this age.' He'll be at Davidson Day next year and he should find a way to be a contributor sooner rather than later.'
