Davidson Day Looking to Start Strong in Defending its Title

During the start of the season, all eyes will be looking at Davidson Day after coming off a state title this past season and also having a loaded roster. Led by 2025 Top-100 prospect Isaiah Denis, Davidson Day has plenty of weapons that should have them as one of the best teams in the state. The roster will include 2026 Will Stevens, 2025 Levon Jacobs, 2027 Lincoln Vinson, 2026 AJ Washington, and others helping lead the charge with Denis, as this is a team that can be effective in a variety of areas.  They will be tested though against a tough, scrappy team in The Burlington School who know how to make noise of their own.

National Powerhouse Combine Academy brings a Loaded Roster to the Court

Led by their new staff, Combine Academy looks revamped and locked in with an extremely talented group.  Bringing in some of the top prospects from around the region, Combine Academy is hoping to kick off the season in style in what will be a packed house and against a rising program in Burlington Christian. 2025 Kaden Magwood will be one of the clear go-to players, but players like 2026 Yohance Connor and others will also be on display. This team could potentially be a Top-25 program in the country, and they look to prove that on the big stage to start the season.

Carmel Christian hoping to make a Statement at Home

There is no doubt about it, every time we have the Tip-Off at Carmel the crowd and fans have been absolutely off the chart. The support from the fan base at Carmel is one of the best and we expect that once again this year. A ruckus crowd and big-time competition between Carmel and Grace Christian, the storylines write themselves. But the big-time matchup to really watch for is 2025 Bryce Slay (Marshall commit) vs. 2025 Michael Phillips (Marquette commit), as they hope to light up the court in a big way.

National Stars in the Big Spotlight

There are plenty of storylines to talk about, but the amount of talent that will be on display may take the icing on the cake.  Top-100 talent, national-level talent, and future college-level prospects will be on display throughout Friday night, which will include 2025 Isaiah Denis, 2026 Will Stevens, 2027 King Gibson, 2025 Kaden Magwood, 2026 Yohance Connor, 2027 Charles Pur, 2025 Bryce Slay, and 2025 Michael Phillips… If you are looking to see some of the best talent in the state, Friday night would be a great start.
