2027 Caleb Nixon (Team Charlotte):
Nixon certainly grabbed our attention and will now be on our watch list. He is a smooth operating prospect with size, the ability to be effective inside and out, can make plays off the dribble, and can be a terrific option off the ball and in catch-and-shoot situations. Comfortable from behind the arc, versatile piece on both ends, and plays at his own pace.
2027 Tyreek White (Triad Elite):
A new name that grabbed our attention, the 6’5 prospect impressed with his potential and size but also with how strong of a motor he played with. White shows the early feel of understanding how to post up and be effective in the paint, but truly excels in his all-out motor that allows him to impact the game on the boards and in so many other ways. White is just starting his story and should be a name to watch.
2027 CP Perry (Riptide):
What a weekend this young man had. Time after time, we find him on our standout list and he deserves to find his name once again after this weekend. With multiple 30+ point showing, Perry was assertive and flourished not only as a leader on the court but as a true scorer as well. Smooth creator, makes high IQ reads, crafty handles, and is an efficient scorer from so many levels. Another impressive weekend for this young guard.
2027 Christian Jones (Village Warriors):
I don’t think many know the name yet but we are here to remind you once again that this should be a guard to jot down and watch more this summer and down the road. Jones is simply a natural scoring guard that knows how to fill it up, and does so time after time. After averaging nearly 22ppg this past high school season, Jones continues to flourish in being a dynamic weapon that puts points on the board.
2027 Kamauri Manuel (Triad Elite):
Manuel, another new name that caught our eyes, should be a name to watch out for more. Manuel brings length and size, along with versatility to the court with his young frame. Manuel impressed with his defensive intensity and impact, allowing his defense to turn into offense, attack and finish at the rim, and the ability to guard/play multiple positions.
2027 Bryce Chapman (NC Spartans):
Chapman had a great showing overall in leading the Spartans. The 6’2 prospect used his size and scoring impact to lead his team on several occasions. He creates well, finds ways to get inside the defense and score, stays active and engaged, finds ways to get to the line consistently, and is a capable creator. He had several big showing offensively throughout the weekend and earned the attention of our scouts for the class of 2027.
2027 Brayden Gatling (SW15H Elite):
Gatling is one that we have highlighted over the last year and it is great to see his progression overall as a player. Gatling continues to improve his overall feel while also being an effective option. When he needs to score, he creates well, stays patient and reads the defense, and can hurt you off the dribble or rising up. But he also makes quality decisions in getting others involved, being a true playmaker on the court.
