Phenom Hoops opened the new Rise Indoor Sports Complex with a bang with the Phenom Stay Positive, as teams came all throughout the region to come and compete for a championship. The talent was off the charts but only a few teams could be crowned champions.
There is nothing like having a tight battle and that is exactly what we got in the young division this past weekend, so it would only be right to end it that way as Garner Road and WCBA matched up championship Sunday. Both teams fought hard and competed. Both programs finished with two players in double figures and it was anyone’s game for much of the time but WCBA Blue 2026 ended coming away with the hard-fought win 48-42.
