It was a tight game throughout much of this game, as both teams were trading blows and mixing it up on the court. It was only a five-point lead for Excel at halftime, but their guard play started to kick in behind 26 points from Josh Helms. Excel was able to get others involved also offensively, as eight different players scored. For NLPB, they were assertive in getting to the line and from outside, but it just wasn't enough in the end.
