Player: Jordan Autry
Class: 2027
AAU: Team Bond
The Coach Ricks TOC was a terrific event that allowed us at Phenom Hoops to check out several new names and players. We wanted to dive into a few of those players that we saw, and 2027 6’1 Jordan Autry was a player that captured several of our scouts’ eyes with his play.
A new name that we are excited to watch develop and learn more about, Autry really showed some early flashes of how impactful and effective he can be. The 6’1 prospect was really able to flourish with how crafty he can be as a playmaker but also one that can score from a variety of levels. Game after game, Autry was able to consistently get the job done and find ways to impact as well as lead his team. He did a great job in being an effective scorer, attacking and creating, finishing around the basket well, creating second-chance opportunities, and also knocking down shots from multiple levels. Autry was really able to flourish in a variety of roles and did a little bit of everything on the court, but he really flourished as an offensive weapon. With his consistency at the event, Autry was one that certainly earned our attention and will be worth watching down the road.
What Was Said:
“Autry was quite impressive in terms of his overall impact on the court. He played bigger than listed and just seemed to have his hands in a little bit of everything on the court for his team. Autry really flashed as a skilled prospect, having a natural understanding of the game, his ability to create and make plays, score with craftiness, and also hurt you from the perimeter. He would be a name to watch out for in the Class of 2027.”
