This Past Season: Playing at Linsly School this past season, Goodwin played a key piece for his team that ultimately ended up with a 20-7 overall record. When talking to Goodwin about this season, he mentioned that overall it went well for him and his program, as they were able to enjoy a lot of success.
“I had a great season and was able to be an important key in my team’s success. My team was able to accomplish a lot of amazing things as well.”
Game Description:
“I’m a versatile player. I can score on the perimeter and inside, I can shoot it as well. I defend multiple positions and I love getting my teammates involved by creating shots for them as well. I take pride in doing all the extra things that go unnoticed; the hustle plays, rebounding, and all the small things that win games. My role for my high school team was to defend, rebound, and score when I needed to.”
Recruitment Update:
Goodwin recently received an offer from Marshall when we spoke to him. They are a program he was able to visit back in October, and being from West Virginia, isn’t far from home. “I’m very excited about my latest offer, it is a great opportunity,” Goodwin said when asked about the Marshall offer.
Shortly after talking to him, he added another offer from College of Charleston, but he also mentioned that he has been earning interest from several D1 and D2 schools.
