Christian is a smooth shooting and physical guard who can knock down the jumper at a good rate from deep and also employ good quickness and his strong frame to attack the basket in punishing fashion. He shows a soft touch around the rim and the ability to finish with both hands.
Christian offers defensive versatility, a relentless motor, and strong leadership skills. He is always talking on both ends but especially defensively and he has the ability to defend multiple positions. He is engaged from the bench, always up to support teammates and cheer on their efforts. Christian guards either wing effectively using solid footwork and strength. His powerful legs and upper body strength make him a factor around the rim where he doesn't mind battling bigger opponents and uses quick elevation and a long wingspan to be an effective paint presence both rebounding the basketball and defending bigger opponents. He has been effective as a slasher type using powerful strides and a decisive burst but over the last year has worked with his trainer/coach and former Old Dominion University star and 13 year pro Ricardo Marsh to gain consistency on his jumper which he has done.
Christian has a textbook stroke and his range extends beyond the three-point arc. He also has become much more efficient shooting off dribble pull-ups and has made himself a difficult matchup now as a three-level scorer. A solid summer with Team Marsh 16U and playing for former Georgetown University standout Robert Churchwell who also spent time with the NBA's Golden State Warriors has helped Christian put his name on the radar and he should be one to watch going forward.
