South Carolina Top 80 Evaluation:

'Onto a player that possesses a pretty useful amount of skill, particularly for his size/position, Kidd Brizek. He's a long, wiry, fairly well-rounded forward prospect with nice offensive versatility and the ability to cause matchup problems. Brizek handles the ball well and can effectively create for himself or others off the dribble, but also shows an understanding of how to make an impact as a cutter and spot-up threat. He makes smart passes and looks to set up open teammates whenever possible. Brizek defends well and rebounds the ball nicely on both ends of the floor. Coach Rice on Brizek: 'Kidd is a tall, smooth player that can play on the perimeter. He adds to his value as a matchup nightmare, as bigger guys can't stay in front of him and he simply overpowers smaller guys in the post.'

Looking down into South Carolina at an unsigned senior that could be a nice snag for a program, 2022 6'7 Kidd Brizek is having a tremendous season at Powdersville high school. After playing a season at Legacy Early College, he has been able to show his leadership ability and offensive game more with the Patriots. With his size, Brizek is a skilled prospect that has shown his ability to use his length well in finishing inside the arc but also stepping out and being a threat from three. You add that to his ability to help on the boards, display a good IQ, and ability to take advantage of mismatch on the floor, Brizek is one that is going under the radar in South Carolina and should get a few more looks his way.

When speaking more to his head coach, Coach Austin Anderson, he had this to say about his senior:

“Brizek has developed into a leader of this team. He continues to play the “go-to” role but understands how to get his teammates involved. Kidd has improved with his aggressiveness and attacking the rim. He can shoot from the perimeter and also is able to elevate at the rim. He has a well-rounded game and tremendous potential the more the game develops for him.”

Right now, Brizek holds a few offers but should garner more eyes his way with his play this high school season.
