High School Career:
Ellis has had a productive three years so far at Andrews, averaging double-figures each season. As a freshman, he averaged 11.5 points per game, shooting 39 percent from the floor. He was able to increase that to 18.7ppg his sophomore year and is coming off a junior campaign in which he averaged 20.8ppg, 4.6rpg, 4.1apg, 3.7spg, and shooting 43 percent from the field. Now, he is looking to go out in his final season with a bang.

This Summer:
Ellis had a productive summer, as he was hoping to show more of his game. He wanted to show how versatile he could be on both ends of the court and how he could be a leader as a point guard, directing the offense and making plays with his court vision, ball-handling, and his ability to score.

“My favorite way to play is to attack and draw the defense in and then kick the ball out to the open man,” Ellis told Phenom Hoops. “Or stop for a pull-up jumper. And always have my eyes open for a slash or back cut. (I’ve been looking to) mostly just grow in my IQ for the game and be able to score more efficiently,” he continued about what he is looking to improve in. “Also be able to finish more effectively off contact.”

Right now, he has been receiving interest from Young Harris so far.
