Player: Tylis Jordan
High School: Shiloh HS
Class: 2025
Height: 6’7
Position: Forward

Phenom Hoops caught up with a rising talent in Georgia in 2025 6’7 Tylis Jordan, who already has been a target for many schools early on and recently added another high-major SEC offer from Auburn.  He spoke to us about the offer and his thoughts, as well as some of the latest going on with the start of his high school season.

Phenom: How has everything been going on early on this high school season for you and your team'
Jordan: The season is starting to come tougher, starting off 0-2 but now the team has been coming together and we are on a 3-game winning streak.

Phenom: What has your role been for your team this year and how has it grown from last year to this year'
Jordan: My role this year is to just be a playmaker on the floor, whether it is scoring, passing, playing defense, or rebounding. What has changed from last year to this year is just my leadership role. Being an example for my team and doing what I do at my best ability because they fuel off me.

Phenom: How would you best describe your game'
Jordan: My game is simple and effective. I don’t need to dribble the ball 100 times. I’m more of an off-the-catch player. I trust my point guard to find me in my spots and get me the ball when needed. But I’m a catch and rip, few dribbles, and get to where I want to go on the court.

Phenom: Recruitment has gone well. The most recent offer came from Auburn. Early thoughts on that program and does anything stand out'
Jordan: I’ve heard a lot of good things about Auburn, producing a good amount of pros and they have been a Top-25 team the past few years. My guy, Peyton (Marshall) just committed there earlier, so it was kind of cool seeing someone I’ve known since I was younger commit to a school that just recently offered and showed love.

Phenom: Have you been able to visit there yet'
Jordan: I think we are working to on a visit up there soon.

Phenom: What other schools have offered'
Jordan: Wichita State, LSU, Kennesaw State, UAB, Mississippi State, Texas A&M, Cincinnati, Alabama, and now Auburn.  Outside of those schools, I haven’t heard from anyone else as far as interests.
