Phenom: Overall, how has your recruitment been going in your eyes'
Codie: My recruitment has been great in my eyes, as a kid I never thought I would have this type of exposure and I’m very grateful for it.
Phenom: Your latest offer came from North Texas. What kind of relationship have you been able to build with them'
Codie: I have a decent relationship with Coach Braeuer at North Texas. We talk every now and then, and when he told me he was coming to the game, I was very excited. I believe our relationship will grow coming up.
Phenom: How long have they been showing interest in you and what kind of relationship do you have with the staff there'
Codie: They first reached out to me on Oct 26th. I feel like I have a good relationship with Coach Braeuer. Every time we talk, he hears what I say and it’s an intriguing conversation.
Phenom: What all do you know and like about that program'
Codie: About UNT I don’t know much but I know it’s a good program. Most of my teachers went there, so I’m always hearing about it. I see the basketball team on Twitter all the time and the good stuff they are doing, and it’s close to home so that’s good.
Phenom: How was your visit to Louisiana Tech' What did you do and see there'
Codie: My visit to LA Tech was good but different. LA Tech is in the country, so it was a different feel to it but a good feeling. We walked around campus for a little, watched the team shoot around, took a couple of pictures, and then we went to watch their game.
Phenom: What other offers do you currently hold'
Codie: Other offers I hold are Tulsa, Sam Houston, California, North Texas, and UT-Arlington.
Phenom: What schools have been expressing interest your way but have yet to offer'
Codie: Some schools that have shown a lot of interest in me but have yet to offer are Rice, LSU, SMU, Texas State, TCU, Saint Louis, LA Tech, Oral Roberts, and Corpus Christi.
Phenom: Are there any schools that you are looking to visit in the future'
Codie: Some schools that I would love to visit soon are LSU, TCU, North Texas, Texas, Baylor, and California.
Phenom: How would you best describe your game and how you like to operate' How do you like to impact the game for your team'
Codie: I consider my game versatile. I don’t have a position; I feel like you can play me wherever you need me because I can do countless things. I love impacting my team the most by being a leader and having energy, you can have the best people all on one team you will still need a leader to operate.
