2024 6’6 Ari Fulton is a name that many have heard but also seems to be one that could be in for a blowup quickly with college programs. When you watch his game and what he provides, there is a lot to like; his 6’6 frame, his big-time athleticism, his ability to finish at the rim, his versatility on defense, and his overall impact in a variety of ways on the court. But he is also showing that he is adding and working more on his game, stretching the court with his perimeter shot-making, and much more.
With the game that he shows now, and his potential that is still left on the table, Fulton is starting to hear more from programs, and offers are coming in. Fulton has added offers from Milwaukee, Queens, NJIT, Arkansas State, and Presbyterian as well. Phenom Hoops spoke to Fulton to catch up on the latest. Here is what he had to say.
Phenom: How has everything been going this summer for you overall'
Fulton: It went great. I got to compete against other high-level teams and players.
Phenom: What have you been working on with your game'
Fulton: I’ve been working on my footwork, getting to my spots in three dribbles or under, making sure I’m low on all my moves, and my consistency behind the arc.
Phenom: Recruitment has been going well. Got a few strong offers lately. What has it been like getting them' You also recently took a visit to Queens, how was that'
Fulton: It has been great sir. I’m very thankful to get them (offers). The visit was great; their campus is beautiful, and the coaches and staff are also welcoming. I had a great time.
Phenom: Got any other visits coming up'
Fulton: Yes sir, I have an official visit to Presbyterian set for August 31.
Phenom: What other schools have been expressing interest your way'
Fulton: All the schools that have offered have been showing great interest.
Phenom: What about schools that have yet to offer'
Fulton: Yes sir. North Alabama, Iona, UIC, UMass-Lowell, Mercer, and San Diego (have been showing interest).
