2025 6’5 Kenny Miller (Big Shots Elite NC / Ben L. Smith)

If you want to talk about a breakout player, one could look at Miller. Though he has been a name many have heard and watched, he has clearly been catching more of the eyes of college coaches around the region, earning his first D1 offer not long ago.  Miller has been a steady presence over the years but it was this summer that he clearly showed his full potential and ability, continuing to show his athleticism and playmaking ability, but also being one that can fill it up from multiple levels as well as facilitate to teammates.  I wouldn’t be surprised if his stock continues to rise from this summer as the high school season starts, as he has an opportunity to only continue his breakout season.

2025 6’5 Joel Deigna (Mid-State Magic / Oak Ridge Military)

Deigna has been a standout on several occasions with Phenom Hoops and he was clearly a topic of discussion all throughout the summer. He checks off a lot of boxes that you have to like and he developed each time we watched him on the court. Great size, super athletic, strong finisher, a capable shot-maker from multiple levels, solid handles, and impacts the game on the boards.  Deigna was a force for his team and again, he continued to get better each time he stepped on the court. He put his name big time on our radar and certainly grabbed the attention of college coaches as well.

2025 Brandon Solomon (Bricksquad Monopoly)

Solomon was another player that one could consider having a breakout-type summer, as he put himself more on our radar with Phenom Hoops. Solomon has good size at 6’4 to go along with a strong frame, but he was able to really flourish in a variety of areas on the court. He opened more eyes with his overall energy and motor, his ability to be a strong force at the rim with his athleticism but comfortable as well in knocking down shots from the perimeter.  He helps provide a lot for his team in a variety of areas and he showed that consistently throughout the summer.

2025 6’7 Devyn Martin (Tennessee Impact / West HS (TN))

Tennessee Impact was always a team that brought intriguing talent to the court and there wasn’t anything different this year. There are plenty of recruitable athletes with this program, but one player who introduced himself on our platform and had a bit of a breakout summer was 2025 6’7 Devyn Martin. Martin is a strong, athletic forward who is capable of guarding multiple positions, competing at a high level, finishes well around the rim, and is an effective option in making plays off the bounce. He consistently shows his comfort level from an array of areas of the floor and is a strong presence down in the paint. More schools have been getting involved his way since watching him this summer.
