2025 6’7 Rylan Parkins (NLPB / McDowell)
Parkins is one who really left a mark on our scouts this summer and clearly should be a “breakout” type player more this summer and upcoming high school season. The 6’7 forward was tremendous in his ability to make an impact on the court without always being the focal point. Parkins did an excellent job in being active on the glass, showing tremendous touch and feel around the basket, and simply outworking his opponents on both sides of the court. The big man had a huge season last year as a junior and he should be on many college coaches’ radars as he heads into his senior season.
2025 6’8 Chase Williams (Team Curry / West Bladen)
Williams was one that we have talked about in the past but it seems that this summer was a big one for the 6’8 strong forward from West Bladen. Williams is a terrific presence on the court, as he brings a unique blend of physicality and strength but also one that is very nimble on his feet and can be a matchup problem. The forward embraces contact and finishes so well through opponents, finding ways to get to the line as well. But he also moves extremely well for his size, has good touch and feel around the basket, and regularly controls the glass against his opponents. Williams has been a steady presence over the years, but this could have been his breakout summer as he earned his first D1 offer.
2025 6’8 Jai’den Davis (Wildcats Elite / Southern Durham)
Davis was one that many didn’t talk about before but after this summer with the Wildcats, more eyes have been coming his way and it is easy to see why. He brings tremendous size at 6’8, he possesses a nice blend of length, mobility, and skillset that allows him to be a presence on both sides of the court. Davis has touch and feel around the basket, runs the floor well for his size and stays engaged, and makes his presence felt on the defensive end by being able to alter or block shots as well. His game has really been able to blossom, and this could be his breakout summer.
2025 6’7 Jamie Brooks (LA Elite / Atlantic Collegiate Academy)
Brooks was a name that many didn’t know about and it was our own Jeff Bendel that was able to get his eyes on him during the LIVE period and introduce us more to his game a few events after. Brooks went from unknown to a player that is on college coaches’ radars and it was easy to see why with his potential, skillset and feel, and versatility. At 6’7, Brooks finds ways to impact the game in a variety of ways, excelling in attacking and finishing at or around the basket, showing good fluidity in his game, and impacting the game with his energy on the defensive end along with his length. Brooks clearly put himself on the radar and had a breakout-type summer.
