2022-23 Stats: Baker continues to build upon a terrific high school career. Coming off a sophomore campaign in which he averaged 23.0ppg, he has continued to find success in leading his team. As a junior, Baker is averaging 24.3ppg, 5.1rpg, 1.7apg, and 2.4spg.

Baker continues to be a name that resonates here in North Carolina with his production, as he is putting up strong numbers once again. He continues to be one of the clear go-to leaders for East Carteret, simply finding ways to score the ball. Though he can knock down shots from outside, he is at his best when he is creating and attacking, as he plays hard and scrappy, finds ways to get to the free-throw line consistently, and gets into the paint and finishes well. Baker consistently brings production with his scoring output, attacking downhill, showing bounce in his game, and is useful out in transition as well; that doesn't mention his vision and impact defensively.
