Player: Ian Howard
Class: 2025
School: Queens Grant

Over the year, we at Phenom Hoops continue to highlight prospects around the country that should have the attention of college programs of multiple levels.

2025 6’3 Ian Howard had a good summer overall in helping lead NLPB and watching him over the years, you can see that he has continued to develop and elevate his game as well as understand how to be effective on the court. What we saw this summer was a player who really understood how to create and be a good option but also play within the offense, not having to be the focal point to make his presence felt. He does a great job in being able to score off the dribble and attack the basket, finishing strong over defenders and with touch as well as looking to attack the defense more. But Howard also makes good decisions in being able to get to his spots off the dribble or off the catch, showing an ability to knock down shots from multiple levels. Howard has only continued to grow and be a leader on the court, and with his new team this upcoming season at Queens Grant, he will be depended on stepping up and showing what he has shown all summer long.

What Has Been Said:

“2025 Ian Howard has really elevated and been more assertive with his overall play. Shows a nice ability to score inside and out, make strong dives to finish, and can knock down shots from the perimeter. #PhenomG3Live”

“2025 Ian Howard continues to be an impact guard who plays well within the offense, creates well for himself, and just does all the little things for his team to be successful. Such a useful tool on the floor.”

“Howard is a player who continues to take the necessary steps in his development as well as being more assertive. He showed that again on Day 1, leading the charge offensively, finding ways to get to the rim and attack the defense, get paint touches, knock down mid-range shots, and create well for himself and others. Active as well on the defensive end.”

“Howard has stepped up his game for Concord Academy, bringing another scoring option to the floor. He showed in the past his ability to be an offensive presence, and he is back at it for Concord Academy, doing a great job in reading and reacting, creating off the dribble and finishing, as well as knocking down shots.”
