Player: Dionte Neal
Class: 2026
Height: 5'7
AAU: CP3/ Carolina Stars

Though some may be hard to believe in talking about a player that is part of the 2026 class but Dionte Neal may be a special occasion.  Why' This young man has simply been off the charts all summer long, being a leader on the floor and racking in the championships with multiple teams.  Phenom Hoops got their first glimpse back in May during the CP3 Media Day, where he quickly captured eyes with his play.

The point guard is incredibly skilled for his age, showcasing just how shifty, crafty, and competitive he is on the court.  The point guard already showcases tremendous quickness in his game, getting by defenders with his change of direction and aggressiveness.  Neal is a tremendous ball-handler and floor general on the floor, one that you simply know that your offense is in good hands.  Whether he needs to create and score for himself, or create, get to the paint, and find his teammates, Neal does a little bit of everything on the court which again, is surprising to see (with his maturity on the court) at his age.

Our scouts have been watching Neal's game all summer long and he has quickly been the topic of discussion each time he plays.  Here are just a few things that have been said early on with his game from our scouts at Phenom Hoops.

'Though a young guard, you can see that Neal looks to have a bright future here in North Carolina.  He was tremendous on Day 2, helping carry the load for his team on their way to a championship.  Neal though is such a shifty guard on the floor, showing the ability to create space for himself, get downhill and finish' he is simply one that you want the ball in his hands as he makes it look easy on offense.  He knows how to lead a team but also be a primary scorer on the floor.'

'It's easy to be overly tantalized with advanced young prospects, but it's difficult to envision a scenario where Dionte Neal doesn't become a notable player over the foreseeable future. Although young and fairly small, Neal is an absolute gamer. He played up an age group for CSB Elite this past weekend and legitimately dominated all challengers in his path. Neal is a smart, quick, dynamic guard prospect with the necessary leadership and all-around skillset to reliably dictate the action with the ball in his hands. He's a lethal scoring threat from all levels, but also highlights an unselfish mentality and sharp playmaking sense. Neal does a terrific job of mirroring opposing ball-handlers at the point of attack, yet also knows how to intercept passing lanes at a high volume.'
