Brian can impact games on both ends of the floor thanks to his high-level athleticism, quickness, and relentless motor. He is a high IQ guard whose offensive game is marked by slippery and elusive drives to the rim and shot-making prowess extending beyond the three-point arc. Brian is very good at catch and shoot scenarios and has a quick release. He moves so intelligently and in an almost a stealth-like manner off the ball and manages to get open frequently with quick backdoor cuts or sprinting off screens and it doesn't take much time or space for him to get his shot off. His footwork is textbook as he catches the ball shot ready.
Brian can also explode to the rim and slice through traffic contorting his body and, despite his wiry thin frame manages to finish around length using a long wingspan and nice touch. Shows potential as a lead guard while also being efficient off the ball. On the defensive end, Brian plays much taller than his 6'1 frame thanks to his long arms, timing, and ability to quickly elevate off the floor. He's so quick laterally and anticipates so well he always seems to be in position to make a play. In the paint, he is disruptive despite lacking the size to tangle with bigger defenders. He is very good defending the dribble using quick feet and hands and great energy to harass ball handlers.
Brian is a scrappy and competitive guard, fearless! He has proven he can impact games both offensively and defensively as a sure double-figure scorer who can provide lockdown defense and average a couple of steals per game. He should draw attention from college coaches over the next two seasons.
