The Phenom Rise Showcase allowed us as a group to check in on some intriguing talent that looked to end the summer off with a bang. Throughout the event, we had a chance to watch some intriguing talent that could be a nice piece for a program.
2022 6'3 Trevor Button was a topic of discussion throughout the event in Advance, as he captured the eyes of our scouts with his performance. Being a key part in the championship run for Brothers Basketball, Button showed to be a tremendous play-maker and one that can fill it up. Button has had several big-time performances this summer and finished it off in a big way against Basketpoint, going for 34 points and scoring all types of ways. A multi-level scorer on the floor, Button hit tough shot after tough shot after tough shot, rising over defenders, creating for himself, and being able to score from multiple areas of the floor. Button's ability to flow within the offense but have that ability to hit another level offensively is impressive. What also brings intrigue about his game is that he also brings good athleticism to the floor, plays unselfish, and has an IQ for the game.
Button has no problem doing the dirty work on the floor and is a tough prospect. He put on a terrific showing at the Phenom Rise Showcase and should be on your watch this list this upcoming season
